Michael Holt and the Trophy 500’s are a dynamic mix of blues, big band swing, rock and roll influences from the 50’s and 60’s, and roots americana. They have quickly become one of Austin’s “must see” acts giving a breath of fresh air to the local blues scene. Michael Holt’s intensity on vocals and guitar coupled with Brad Fordham’s rockabilly roots rock and country background on the bass makes for a devastating front line duo! Lisa Pankratz steady groove and driving beat gives the foundation that makes this trio work to perfection. Michael Holt and the Trophy 500’s have just completed their groundbreaking first EP Boogalu’ and are heading to the studio for the upcoming full length CD.
